Open Water Diver : 4 days; during day 2 you will learn the theory in classroom, and perform skills in confined water deep enough to stand. The 2 other days, you will board on a boat for 4 dives. This course gives you the technical required to be a safe diver. You will know how to swim underwater, how to breath, how to resolve the problems, and how to assist your buddy, in case he or she needs. All open water dives will take part on the same reefs as the other divers, and each cession will finish by what you came for: exploration of the underwater realm. Welcome in your new world ! Once certified, you will be able to dive at 18m/60 feet. Minimum age 10 years ( junior open water diver ).
The diving center is located at the Amari hotel, and offers 2 tanks dive in a full day trip.

Arrival day: your hotel is located on Chaweng beach, and you are never further than 15 minutes from the diving center. The diving center
Day 2 : Appointment 10.00 am at the Ko Samui diving center.
* Morning: class room academic and confined water training.
* Afternoon: class room academic and confined water training.
16.00 pm: end of today's program
Day 3 : Appointment 10.00 am at the Ko Samui diving center.
* Morning: class room academic and confined water training.
* Afternoon: class room academic and confined water training.
16.00 pm: end of today's program
Day 4 : 7.15 am. Pick up at your hotel and en route to Ko Samui diving center, 15 minutes away. As soon as everybody is ready, en route to Ko Tao. The trip to Ko Tao 's dive sites takes 1H30
* Morning: board on the boat for open water dives 1
The lunch is a light lunch.
After the first dive, lunch break with 1H00 surface interval at least.
* Afternoon: stay on board, open water dives 2.
15.30 -16.30 pm: back to Ko Samui. Time to fill the log books and to rinse the dive gear.
Day 5 : 7.15 am. Pick up at your hotel and en route to Ko Samui diving center, 15 minutes away. As soon as everybody is ready, en route to Ko Tao. The trip to Ko Tao 's dive sites takes 1H30
* Morning: board on the boat for open water dives 3
The lunch is a light lunch.
After the first dive, lunch break with 1H00 surface interval at least.
* Afternoon: stay on board, open water dives 4.
15.30 -16.30 pm: back to Ko Samui.

The day before the last day: remember that divers should let between 18H00 and 24H00 before their last dive and their flight. If you dive today, your flight tomorrow should not be before 15.30 pm.
Last day : check out from your hotel between 10.00 am and 11.00 am.
