This is the magic about diving in Punta Cana: shallow water, reef dives only 10 minutes away by boat, and as always: wreck dives and warm water. Visibility ranges from 20 to 30 meters, and water temperature from 27 Celsius degrees to 30 Celsius degrees. The reefs of Punta Cana have the particularity to form canyons and caves. You can dive only once a day, or twice a day, up to you !

No stress at Punta Cana International airport with the taxis, a driver will wait for you with a sign at your name. Driving from Punta Cana airport to your hotel takes 40 minutes, and the limousine or mini van goes directly to your hotel. If there are other divers if the car / minivan, it' s because they are all Fun Dives Travel 's divers, and all go to the same hotel as you do. This guaranties a straight transfer from the airport to your hotel.
Fun Dives Travel allows you to make the schedule by yourself: you decide which day you dive and which days you don't. You are welcome to change your schedule if you advise the dive staff 24H00 ahead, and of course, this is subject to availability.
The Punta Cana diving center offers 1 diving day trip of 2 dives a day in the morning.

Arrival day: pick up at Punta Cana airport. Then en route to your hotel, 40 minutes ahead.
Check in at your hotel. The dive center is located at Carabela hotel, and the boats are leaving from the VIK and the ocean Blue white Sand hotels. Please note that the dive center will pick you up in the morning and afternoon, so that you don't need to worry about ling distance to the dive center. Transfer will take a maximum of 10 minutes.
Dive schedule :
8.30 am. Pick up in your hotel and transportation to the dive center.
Take a minute to review the diving day trips schedule with the dive center manager.
9.00 am. The boat leaves to the dive sites, the trip doesn't take more than 15 minutes. Before the dives, the dive staff makes a briefing to explain you the main attractions of the site. Drinking water and fruits are provided on board.
Between 2 dives, 1H00 or surface break.
12.30 pm: back to the beach. Time to fill the log books and to rinse the dive gear. The dive center brings you back to your hotel.
Schedule for the Bayahibe day trip:
Every day except Sunday. A light lunch is included.
7.00 am: pick up in your hotel with an air con mini van. En route to La Romana and Bayahibe, a pretty nice occasion to discover this beautiful country. In Bayahibe, you will do 2 boat dives in Bayahibe. Lunch is usually on a island nearby and surface interval is 1H30.
After the second dive: this is boat ride back to the beach, then mini van ride back to PUnta Cana.
19.00 pm : arrival in your hotel in Punta Cana.
The day before the last day: remember that divers should let between 18H00 and 24H00 before their last dive and their flight. If you dive today, your flight tomorrow should not be before 1.30 pm.
Last day : check out from your hotel between 10.00 am and 11.00 am. On our side, we organize your airport transportation so that you are at Punta Cana airport 2H00 before flying. We will come back to you 10 days before your arrival to ask your flight details.
