Bayahibe offers the best diving in the Dominican Republic. Dramatic walls where hammer heads live, nurse sharks under the rocks, fields of fan corals home of dozens of lobsters and crabs. Located on the Southern part of the Dominican republic, is has a wide visibility and war waters. Experienced divers will feel at home in Bayahibe, and beginners will get a dive certification in comfort. You can dive only once a day, or twice a day, up to you !

Duration: minimum 2 nights with as many dives as you wish.

No stress at La Romana International airport with the taxis, a driver will wait for you with a sign at your name. Driving from La Romana airport to your hotel takes 45 minutes, and the car or mini van goes directly to your hotel. If there are other divers if the car / minivan, it' s because they are all Fun Dives Travel 's divers, and all go to the same hotel as you do. This guaranties a straight transfer from the airport to your hotel.
Fun Dives Travel allows you to make the schedule by yourself: you decide which day you dive and which days you don't. You are welcome to change your schedule if you advise the dive staff 24H00 ahead, and of course, this is subject to availability.
Our best offer is the 11 dives package: including 4 local dives, 4 dives in Saona, 2 dives in Catalina, 1 night dive in 5 days minimum.
The Bayahibe diving center offers 2 dives a day: one in the morning, one in afternoon. Excursion to Saona and Catalina islands are during a full day, and include lunch on the beach .
Arrival day: pick up at La Romana airport. Then en route to your hotel, 45 minutes ahead.
Check in at your hotel. The dive center is located at the Iberostar hotel. Your hotels will be no more than 10 minutes walking to the diving center. The diving center offers 2 dive trips a day: in the morning for a 1 tank dive, in afternoon for a 1 tank dive.
Dive schedule for local dives:
8.30 am. Appointment at the dive center.

9.00 am. The boat leaves to the dive sites, the trip doesn't take more than 15 minutes. Before the dives, the dive staff makes a briefing to explain you the main attractions of the site. Drinking water and fruits are provided on board.
10.30 pm: back to the beach. Time to fill the log books and to rinse the dive gear .
13.30 pm appointment at the diving center.
14.00 am. The boat leaves to the dive sites, the trip doesn't take more than 15 minutes. Before the dives, the dive staff makes a briefing to explain you the main attractions of the site. Drinking water and fruits are provided on board.
15.30 pm: back to the beach. Time to fill the log books and to rinse the dive gear .
Dive schedule for Saona and Catalina islands:
8.30 am. Appointment at the dive center.
9.00 am. The boat leaves to the dive sites, the trip doesn't take more than 15 minutes. Before the dives, the dive staff makes a briefing to explain you the main attractions of the site. Drinking water and fruits are provided on board. After the first dive, the boat goes to a dream white sandy beach for a picnic lunch. The second dive takes place after everyone had a good rest.
16.30 pm: back to the dive center. Time to fill the log books and to rinse the dive gear .
The day before the last day: remember that divers should let between 18H00 and 24H00 before their last dive and their flight. If you dive today, your flight tomorrow should not be before 1.30 pm.
Last day : check out from your hotel between 10.00 am and 11.00 am. On our side, we organize your airport transportation so that you are at La Romana airport 2H00 before flying. We will come back to you 10 days before your arrival to ask your flight details.
